Some applications have a user setting that might help... Citix
(clusters), for example, had a setting for this situation.
Thanks for the reply, i'm actually not running NAT here, and it doesnt
matter what the application they all do the same thing. I have actually
just moved from FreeBSD 4.10 with IPF to 5.3 with PF, so the problem is
with the firewall config itself, or possibly a bug.
