Re: pflog0 not logging

yes, pf is enabled yes the filter has been flushed As for the logging rules, no.

What I did do is reboot the system, I tried disabling and re-enabling pf but it didn't

What is the role of the /dev/bpf?

Thank you for the reply.
On the network I would most want to see tcpdump -nettti pflog0 output, I still get nothing. I have two other network running pf, and they both respond fine with tcpdump -nettti pflog0.
What can I look for next?

Hi Duncan.

o Is pf enabled
o Has the filter ruleset been flushed (and not reloaded)
o Have there been some changes to the filter ruleset that might short circuit your "log" rules (a "quick" rule before the "log" rule)

Just some ideas.
